Privacy Policy
The short version. The QR code generator runs entirely in your browser. Your CSV files, the URLs you enter, and the images produced are never sent to this site or anywhere else. The Site sets no cookies, carries no advertising, and runs no cross-site tracking. The only personal data it ever receives is an email address, and only if you deliberately type one into the form on the Pro interest page.
Who we are
This Privacy Policy covers the website at batchqrcodes.com ("the Site"), operated by the owner of batchqrcodes.com. You can reach us at contact@batchqrcodes.com.
Data you put into the generator
We do not receive it. The QR code generator is written in JavaScript that executes on your own device. Specifically:
- CSV files you select are read locally by your browser. They are not uploaded. The file never leaves your computer.
- URLs, filenames and copy counts you type into the manual form stay in your browser's memory for the duration of your visit.
- QR code images are drawn on a canvas element in your browser, and the ZIP archive is assembled in your browser before being handed to your downloads folder.
- Nothing you enter is stored on a server, logged, retained, analysed, or shared, because there is no application server involved at any point. The Site is a set of static files.
Closing or reloading the page discards everything you entered. There is no account, no saved history, and nothing to delete.
Server logs
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard technical information when a page is requested, which may include your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is handled by Cloudflare under Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to these logs in an identifiable form.
Cookies
The Site sets no cookies at all. There is no advertising, no ad network, no cross-site tracking and no advertising identifier — and therefore no consent banner to click through, because there is nothing to consent to. Nothing about your visit is used to build a profile of you, here or anywhere else.
Analytics
The Site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited, which sites and searches they were reached from, and roughly which countries and device types are involved. It exists so we can work out which guides are worth writing more of.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-preserving by design: it sets no
cookies, uses no localStorage, and does not fingerprint your
device or build any identifier that could follow you between sites or
between visits. There is nothing to opt out of, because there is no
persistent identifier to opt out from. Cloudflare's own description of

The analytics script cannot see anything you enter into the generator. It records that a page was visited, not what was on it.
The Pro interest form
The Pro interest page asks whether some possible paid additions would be useful, and offers a form where you can leave an email address. This is the only place on the Site that collects personal data, and it is entirely voluntary — the generator behaves identically whether you fill it in or ignore it.
- What is collected: the email address you type, and which of the listed features you ticked. Nothing else, and nothing automatically.
- Why: to judge whether any of those features are worth building, and to let you know if one ships.
- Who processes it: the form is provided by a third-party form service, which stores the submission on our behalf. Their handling of it is governed by their own privacy policy.
- What it is not used for: it is not sold, not shared, not passed to advertisers, and not used for any mailing unrelated to what you signed up for.
- Removing it: email contact@batchqrcodes.com and the entry is deleted. No account or verification needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. For everything other than the Pro interest form there is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete, because nothing is collected in the first place. For an email address you submitted through that form, write to contact@batchqrcodes.com and it will be sent to you or deleted on request.
If you are in California, note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Guides on this Site occasionally link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and this policy does not apply to them.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
